Youth Volunteer Corps are trained to educate visitors about raptor conservation through the use of hands-on activities.

  • Answer visitor questions
  • Have conversations about the birds
  • Educate using props
  • Teach others how to help raptors in the wild
  • Lead hands-on activities

Youth Volunteer Corps is a six week summer program, from June through August, while school is out for the summer.

  •  Applicants must be at least a rising ninth grader

When you submit an application you will receive a confirmation email that your application was received. You will receive a separate email from the Volunteer Coordinator within 72 hours on how to set up an interview with CRC Staff.

NOTE: Court ordered community service volunteers are not accepted at this time.

YVC are integral in educating visitors about raptor conservation. Because the birds at CRC were once wild animals, we limit unnecessary human and bird interactions as much as possible for the comfort of the birds. Because of this, YVC do not handle live birds.
