On-Call Transport Volunteering

You can be a part of the transport or raptor ambulance team and respond to calls by the public regarding injured raptors that need to be picked up and taken to CRC. Attendance at a Volunteer Information Session is not necessary to apply for this position. If you would like to be a transport volunteer in addition to other volunteer positions, please attend a Volunteer Information Session.

The Volunteer Application is currently being revised. Please check back on August 1 for the new version.

Once your application is received, you will be contacted to complete a short training program and then you'll be on call to bring birds into the hospital. Contact Mathias Engelmann at mengelmann@carolinaraptorcenter.org with questions regarding our Transport Volunteer Program.
