Photo by Ann Parker.About this imageI believe that one of the most important things to learn in life is that you can make a difference in your community no matter who you are or where you live. – Rosalynn Carter Group Volunteering for Adults Service has become a popular way for groups to make an impact in their community while getting a chance to bond with each other. CRC is happy to host any group that is searching for projects that will help with wildlife conservation. Types of groups we have worked with: Faith-based organizations Businesses Community groups Since our facility is mainly outdoors, our volunteer projects tend to be outside too! Group volunteers often help with: landscaping (weeding, planting, mulching) maintaining trails (spreading gravel, raking leaves, trimming overhanging plants) updating enclosures (repairing fencing, painting, building new perches) Details Groups of 10 or fewer work best for the type of projects available at Carolina Raptor Center. If you have more than 10 we ask that you split your group, coming at two different times on the same day or on two different days. All participants must be at least 18 years old at the time of service. Openings are currently available through December 31, 2020. Dates and times that are available can be viewed at the BOTTOM of the APPLICATION. Due to limitations on staff, we are unable to accommodate dates that are not listed on the application. Carolina Raptor Center gives scheduling priority to volunteer groups that can donate the cost of materials or other items necessary to complete projects. Application Submit a Group Volunteer Application online HERE. This link is currently disable because no dates are available for groups to volunteer! We will add new dates as projects arise. Please check back frequently to see if there are new openings. When you submit an application you will receive a confirmation email that your application was received.
