Care for the Birds and the Environment

Wherever you go, there you are. – Confucius

Transport Volunteers respond to calls about injured raptors. They are trained to retrieve the bird, secure it safely, and transport it to the CRC Medical Facility.

  • Respond to calls from the public about injured birds
  • Observe injured raptor's behavior
  • Retrieve injured raptors
  • Safely transport raptors

Because the birds at CRC are wild animals, we try to limit human and bird interactions. In order to decrease stress on the patients, Transport Volunteers and staff handle the birds as little as possible.
