About this image

The owl is one of the most curious creatures. A bird that stays awake when the rest of the world sleeps. What does he see and what does he know that the rest of the world is missing? – M.J. Rose

The Owl Forest: A Nature Notebook

Observation is the key to this walk in the woods. Draw, write and collect items for your Nature Notebook as you amble through the trees to spot your favorites. Whether you love Draco Malfoy’s Eurasian Eagle Owl – the biggest owl species in the world – or the mysterious Barn Owls, you are sure to have a hoot of a good time. Owl box plans are available along the way or on our website so you can have your own owl forest in the back yard. Stop by The Owl Forest Artist Center to draw or write about your experience and add it to the exhibit.
