About this image

Bird Show (formerly Flights of the Forest), Keeper Talks, and Summer Raptor Experience is CLOSED until next Spring, 2020.

Take flight at Bird Show this summer at Carolina Raptor Center. The CRC flight team is back again. You and your family will be wowed by the show put on by these native and exotic flight birds and their trainers at this annual sensation. Does it ever get old to learn about these magnificent birds of prey? Can you hear the whisper of feathers and feel the wind on your back?  Volunteer to participate on stage and get even closer! Thanks to our partners at TIAA, the bird show is FREE with regular admission again this year.

Please arrive a half an hour early so that you won't miss the show.  Gates to amphitheatre open 15 minutes before show time and patrons will be seated on a first come, first served basis. Please note that the gate location has changed. Patrons can enter near the Barred Owl Enclosure and through the entrance near the Peace Garden. (Entrances will be clearly marked.) Our goal is for everyone to see the flight show this summer; after all, it's FREE!

Unfortunately, due to the terrain and flight paths of the birds at our amphitheatre, we can only accommodate one wheelchair. Electric/power chairs have a very difficult time navigating our trail system, so please consider that before you come. Strollers are not permitted in the amphitheatre -- please park your ride outside! There are only 80 seats per show, so make sure you arrive on time to assure your seat.
