Carolina Raptor Center is located at 6000 Sample Road in Huntersville, NC, inside Latta Plantation Nature Preserve. Enjoy the over 25 species of raptors living along our 3/4 mile Raptor Trail with a self-guided tour. Please click here for our trail map. ERO TOURS NOW AVAILABLE!
With the laying of Derek and Savannah's first egg, CRC will be premiering our new Eagle Research Observatory Tours this weekend. Up to six guests will spend time learning about CRC's eaglets past, present, and future as well as spend some time observing the eagles in the ERO. Cost is $25 per person. Children age 8 and above can participate. Tours are offered at 2pm on Saturdays and Sundays and will continue until our eaglets are moved to the hack tower. Slots can be reserved in visitor services when you visit on the weekends or by calling 704.875.6521 ext. 107. For tours of more than six people, please call our education dept at 704.875.6521 ext. 210.

Vulture Feeding
Saturdays at 12:30 p.m.
Stop by and watch our volunteers feed the vultures.

  • Meet our fabulous volunteer raptor keepers and learn about popular raptor species on the trail. Included in cost of admission.
