You are cordially invited to join the Take Flight Society at Carolina Raptor Center.
The Take Flight Society is a special group of individuals who have committed to a leadership gift of at least $1,000 per year for three years. These donors are committed to the mission and vision of Carolina Raptor Center and have aligned their giving flight plans to support this mission. Carolina Raptor Center celebrates their commitment to the conservation of raptors and environmental education for the community.

Take Flight Society Details

Nesting - $1,000 per year

  • Recognition on a special Take Flight Society plaque on the Raptor Trail
  • A complimentary Trailblazer annual membership
  • Invitation to special Take Flight Society members’ only events
  • Behind the scenes access to CRC exhibits and programs, including the premiere of CRC’s Talons: Birds of the World Flight Show
  • Invitation to a Case Study talk with CRC’s staff veterinarian Dr. Dave Scott, where he will discuss patient treatment
  • Opportunity to Release a Raptor back into the wild (subject to availability)

Perching - $2,500 per year
All Nesting level benefits, plus:

  • Become a Keeper for a Day and learn about our resident birds and their daily care

Hunting - $5,000 per year
All Perching level benefits, plus:

  • A personal guided tour of Marcie’s Eagle Research Observatory during nesting to view our baby eaglets

Gliding - $10,000 per year
All Hunting level benefits, plus:

  • A day with Dr. Dave and see first-hand his work with our resident and rehabilitation birds

Soaring - $25,000 per year
All Gliding level benefits, plus:

  • A special dinner with Executive Director Jim Warren and Staff Veterinarian Dr. Dave Scott
