Discover what it takes to feed, train and care for over 100 resident birds. Keeper for a day participants will work hands-on alongside Carolina Raptor Center staff for the experience of a lifetime. Shadow our rehabilitation staff and learn about rehabilitating birds of prey. Join our flight team and help train owls, hawks, and falcons. Daily raptor keeper responsibilities include feeding, enrichment, training, and even resident bird health exams.
The Raptor Keeper program is open for people ages 12 and up. We are able to accommodate up to four participants at once. Sessions last 2 hours and can be scheduled for any day of the week between the hours of 9am and 4pm.
Fees:
Members: $200 for 2 people
Nonmembers: $275 for 2 people
