Raptor Rehab Seminar

On October 21 and 22, the raptor rehabilitation staff at Carolina Raptor Center will direct a two-day training session to help mid-level rehabbers develop their skills. Participants will begin with raptor identification and move on to tail wraps, bandaging and basic diet. Capture and handling, physical and ocular anatomy and exams will start you on your way to assisting injured birds. The staff will discuss common injuries and treatments and how to read radiographs. The two-day seminar will include over 12 contact hours of instruction.
