Raptor Party
You'll amaze your friends and neighbors with your "friends in high perches" when you host a Raptor Party in your home.

Raptor Parties are fundraisers for Carolina Raptor Center, and a great way to introduce the community to the programs delivered by Carolina Raptor Center's team of experienced environmental educators. We call it "edutainment"-which means your guests will have so much fun they won't realize how much they've learned!

What Carolina Raptor Center Provides
  • »Up to 50 custom invitations mailed to your guest list. The invitation will indicate an expectation of a financial donation to Carolina Raptor Center. You decide on the suggested donation, usually $50*.
  • »Up to three raptors (eagles, owls, kestrels, hawks, vultures). Carolina Raptor Center can accommodate most requests, but there are special considerations for larger birds (especially eagles).
  • »Two environmental educators to answer questions and deliver a 15 minute program packed with interesting facts and trivia about raptors, as well as specific biographies of the birds attending.
  • »A complimentary behind-the-scenes tour of Carolina Raptor Center for the host family two weeks before the party, so you have the opportunity to outsmart your guests!

What You Provide
  • »A guest list of up to 50 people, complete with mailing address
  • »Your phone number or email to take RSVPs
  • »Food & beverages to serve your non-feathered guests
  • »An introduction and closing statement around the 15 minute program
*Raptor Parties must raise at least $500 in order to cover costs. We hope each party will raise $1,000 in donations, memberships or Adopt-A-Birds.
