Nothing can substitute for just plain hard work. I had to put in the time... And it was a grind. It meant training and sweating every day. – Andre Agassi

Consulting for Facilities that Manage Birds of Prey

Carolina Raptor Center can provide consulting services for zoos, raptor centers and nature centers that manage birds of prey in their collection. Consulting includes facility design, volunteer management, docent and handler training, resident bird care, and animal husbandry recommendations. Pricing is based on distance from Carolina Raptor Center and the status of the organization at the time of engagement.

Carolina Raptor Center participates in the International Association of Avian Trainers and Educators and hosted the annual conference on site and in Charlotte in February 2015. Our avian professionals have presented papers and created poster sessions for past conferences including a paper on communicating natural history in 2016.
