Raptor Rookies
Is your child new to the raptor game? This camp is for the young raptor novice who wants to dive into the world of raptors and birds of prey. Your camper will get to meet all the different types of raptors our center has to offer and participate in outdoor activities. Each day will focus on a different type of raptor, their awesome adaptations, and what we can do to help them out in the wild!
Young Vet’s Camp
Is your child an aspiring young veterinarian or someone who wants to work with animals? Throughout this camp your camper will learn all about avian medicine and have sessions with one of our staff vet techs. With raptor encounters, hands-on activities and lessons live from our raptor hospital, campers will get a great sense of environmental awareness and a greater respect for the natural world around them!
Nature’s Yucky Camp
Does your child love the outdoors? This camp gives campers the opportunity to get messy in nature without getting in trouble for it! Campers will explore the “icky” things that happen in natural world and learn why those things are important. They will meet avian ambassadors, conduct science experiments, and problem solve ways to help the environment through hands-on activities!
Birds Inspire Camp
Does your child have an artistic side and a love of science? Birds Inspire Camp is all about celebrating how birds have inspired humans. Campers will be immersed in a wide variety of STEAM related activities as they learn how birds impact the human world. Each day of camp will focus on different ways birds have inspired art, engineering, stories, technology, and so much more! After participating in hands-on activities and having nose to beak experiences with our ambassador birds, your child will most definitely leave camp inspired!
Young Ornithologists
Is your child interested in being a scientist? Young Ornithologists Camp will provide your child with an opportunity to be a bird scientist for a week! Campers will learn about different ways that scientists help wild birds and the natural world through hands-on experiments and activities. Your child will also learn from our expert bird trainers as they work with avian ambassadors. Campers will learn what it takes to train birds for educational shows and how education helps the natural environment!
