Fall PhotoWILD
Saturday, October 18 and Sunday October 19

Amateur and professional photographers alike will enjoy this professional photo shooPhotoWild.Bonsait featuring Carolina Raptor Center's resident raptors. Owls and eagles and hawks, OH MY! Each day highlights over 20 different raptors in unique settings each day. The day starts with an early-bird breakfast at 7:30 a.m., followed by six,  thirty-minute sessions, including a free-flight rotation with some of our flight show superstars.

Purchase a two-day pass for the most bang for your buck. Single day passes are also available. Click on the links below to register. Hoot and Howl: Day of the Dead
Saturday, November 1, 2014
11 am - 3:00 pm

Carolina Raptor Center’s 2014 Hoot and Howl Celebration has taken on a Day of the Dead twist this fall. Held on the traditional Dia de Los Muertos, we’ll be remembering extinct species with Calaveras (poems/epitaphs), making paper flowers, engaging in traditional face painting and exploring the sugar skull tradition. We’ll also include some traditional Halloween games and crafts including a costume contest, pumpkin painting, Trick or Treating and making paper plate skeletons. At 11 am, enjoy the Meet the Raptors, owl edition on our Festival area stage, 12:30 pm is feeding time for our resident “death eaters,” the Vultures, and at 2 pm be the first to take our new Behind the Scenes Tour featuring the new documentary film by 2014 Savannah College of Art and Design graduate Jared Sims.

It’s that time of year when your feet start twitching and you body gets to moving to the beat of something….WILD! Carolina Raptor Center’s 2014 GoWILD – Concert and Benefit Auction features Charlotte-based band GAL FRIDAY. See them for a song before they hit the national music scene. Tickets $40/adults and $15 Kids 18 and under. Purchase tickets online at
