Come take a self guided tour and see over 23 different species of raptors on our 3/4 mile long nature trail nestled inside of Latta Plantation Nature Preserve on the banks of Mountain Island Lake. We're just 15 minutes away from Uptown Charlotte. Check the schedule for our weekly programs.

Fall/Winter Hours

We will be open on President's Day, Monday, February 15th, from 10 till 5.

October 1st - March 1st: Visitor hours will be from Wednesday thru Saturday from 10-5 and Sunday from 12-5. We will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

Closed New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day

Note: Carolina Raptor Center is an outdoor facility with unpaved trails. Visitors are encouraged to prepare for inclement weather and wear appropriate footwear for uneven terrain. For the protection of our resident raptors, no pets are allowed on Carolina Raptor Center premises or nature trails.
